Twice today I've had to log in (from home and the office), when normally the server remembers me. I just wondered if anything had changed.

I had to log in once today, where I'm usually always logged in.

It seems to be when you try to access GN, whilst Paul is updating the database. It may be just coincidence, but it's happenened to me twice in the last couple of weeks - both times after I got a message, telling me that the forum was not available (i.e. whilst the database is being updated)
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I upgraded to the latest version of this board about 12 hours ago. That may require you to log in again. If you still need to log in again ther may be something not right.
That explains why I had to log in again this evening (morning?)

I don't offer any explanations. Just excuses. ;)
Thanks. I'm just the glad the trouble wasn't "in my set", as they used to say.

Ditto :D
I was having a very difficult time, as even when I re-logged-in, it kicked me out. I actually had to delete my GN cookie in order to get back in. No big deal, except I've noticed a lot less traffic in the past 24 hours, and a lot more guests in the stats. FYI, there's no obvious way to contact anyone to get help.
I think I'll post something in the News section...
