Evidently his first post was spam but got past us somehow, I caught it on his second post and disapproved it and sent the first post (in the same thread) to EL.

I'm just not sure about him. General post but with link to http://www.lefthandedguitarstore.net/ Granted, it's guitars, but I'm wondering if he didn't just post to advertise. He's also already been approved, but, I sent him to El for everyone else's perusal.

Very conveniently named new person. I've disapproved at least four posts for being thinly veiled links to other sites, the latest one being acai berries.
And a question of proper protocol - Should I approve a post and then send it to EL for you or is it easier to just keep disapproving them?
Peace

Spamming signature that he managed to sneak by us. Also shilling for acrylic nails.

Tim,
I'd edit out the second sentence and the link and put the rest back.
Without that, I think he has a good topic for discussion.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I agree, I think he's just spamming for emusic.com.

I agree, but if you take that out, the remainder is a reasonable topic. He won't like the loss of the link, but who cares?

The post had been reported by another member -- don't know who offhand.
I'll try the edit but we should keep an eye out and see what happens. Does that seem reasonable?

If he keeps linking, maybe one of us should write him, or is it three strikes and you're out?

A gentle hint with a cattle prod, would be in order, if he continues to link.
