I play heavy metal too!!. In fact, I am trying to set a band up in The Netherlands. I need a bassist!!!!
Hahahaha. Ok. I sing in a cover-hard-rock band (thin lizzy,van halen,black sabbath,etc.). I also play the rythm guitar and sing with my own band; we play heavy-groove-hardcore metal.

I love metal, I think. Often I am not sure where hard rock ends and metal begins.......
It's not easy being green.... good thing I'm purple.
Iron Maiden is a good example of early Heavy Metal; ACDC is an example of hard rock or rock and roll even. I think.
Guitars and drums sound a bit more agressive in Metal than in Hard rock. The guitar has more distortion too.
