My idea would be to incorporate some type of guitar terms dictionary into the site. Complete with illustrations and examples would also be very helpful. I know I would like it; for example, I know what key is but I do not fully understand it. With something like that dictionary it might make understanding a term much easier. Moreso having the terms point to articles in which said definition is outlined.

This is a good idea. If someone could come up with a list of words for the dictionary and maybe some others help with the definitions, I can integrate it all into the site. We've discussed it before and it's a pretty big project for one person.

I think, it's a good idea to have a guitar dictionary or some sort of guitar glossary. :)

Hum..

Try this site:

Virginia Tech Multimedia Music Dictionary

If that doesn't work:

It has some neat features.

Is there still a guitar noise glossary in the works? I'd like to jump on board and say that it would be a great learning tool. Some of the links given above are also great, but some of the definitions within those sites are not geared toward a beginner guitar player, or toward the guitar at all, making them confusing still.

Although I think this would be a great tool, I haven't a clue what terms should be included.
