The search button has gone bye bye. It may be back sometime. Right now we're trying to use less resources and the search chews up a lot.
I know this has been mentioned on the site before, but this is a good place for a reminder:
You can do a search on google and only return results from a specific domain
for example:
"circle of fifths" site:guitarnoise.com
returns these results
You can also access this feature in google's advanced search page.
I just realized though, you are probably talking about the search in the forums, not the main site. Though the above will return results from the forums, they would only be as recent as the last time google indexed the site.

Thanks. That's a good tip. Google usually crawls Guitar Noise for changes every two days, so their results are pretty much up to date.
good to know about the google resource. Sad to see the search function on this page leave. Wonder if it will incourage more duplicate questions, atleast more than usual.
