So I was wondering if this would be a good idea. I'm always looking to expand my musical listenings, but it's hard. I usually try to look at the little feature on amazon.com that tells you what other customers bought who bought a CD I like, or check a website like pandora.com, but it doesn't seem to work out too good. Or I'll try to find out who the inspirations for the artists that I like are, but I rarely seem to find anything good.
Maybe we can have a thread that consists of people listing groups/songs that they like with a brief blurb? Might help to expand some horizons...
I'm not so sure about the swapping of mixed tapes but, we do have a couple threads along the lines of what you are describing.
