With so many people posting threads about you tube videos I thought it might be a good idea to have such posts in a separate thread.

Just a thought.

Hmmm..a "See Hear" forum  I think in another year we will be doing Video collaborations as well as mp3 audio collaborations. I'm saving up for a video camera and tripod  meanwhile I think bobblhat may be on to something. Maybe we can run it up the flag pole and see who salutes it--the dog

I'm creating a video to one of my originals as we speak. Thats not too stupid is it? :)

As to the idea I am generally against more and more forums.. Makes it harder to find things.. But I think in this case it'd make it easier. But... who am i?

I think we will start to see members of this forum starting to do video( its defiantly not stupid). Bish has allready posted a few ( a man ahead of his time). Also its just natural for forum members to want to share what they find on the net. Something about seeing a Japanese high school rock band playing King Crimson music well on you tube ( or Google etc. ) that brightens my day :D --the dog

"See Hear Here" makes the most sense of the suggestions so far. A dedicated video thread page makes no sense if you think about it - people are often posting videos as examples for questions or as explanations for questions. Regulating that seems counterproductive.

But the "See" part of "See Hear Here" (or "Now You See Hear Here") should conform to the current guidelines of "Hear Here," that meaning self-produced.

Just my thoughts and certainly not the last word by any means...

Peace

When I think of the Hear Here forum, it's recordings of people's personal work, be it covers or original, not youtube videos of Clapton tearin' it up...

I don't really se ethe need for another forum section...I think we have far too many as it is, I miss out on 90% of the threads around here because we have so many forums...Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, haha, but I definitly preffered it when we had a lot less forums.

No it sure isn't. I'm slowly working towards that myself as well. Seems a fairly logical step to me, visuals add a whole new dimension to a project.

I've always wanted to do that myself... working towards it by tinkering with a few things here and there. Ulead video studio looks to be quite helpful in that respect - it'll import flash movies directly too, and with transparancy (so no need to chromakey the background), so I should be able to use that to my advantage :)

Now I just need to finish off a song or three to make a video for
