BUT......I dropped off my bass at the shop this morning to have the set-up done! :cry:
Figures. Oh well, I'll just have to "read ahead" until I get the bass back.

Just wanted to add my .02 by saying that I also picked up David's book from Amazon. Should be here this week.
I've been fumbling around with the bass for a couple of months now, but it's time to get serious and actually try to learn something! :-)

It may not be a matter of being into the instrument itself.
It may just be I've become addicted to David's lessons and teachings.
This book is even better than his guitar lessons and makes many concepts somewhat easier to grasp (in an orderly manner which is not so easy through song lessons)
I hope he writes an equivalent book for guitar.
