ive been playin bass for around 2 years now, i have been playin mainly ibanez, i would like to get sum imput on wut you guys think on the ibanez btb series. I have heard mainly good things about these basses and i am considering getting one.
Well, There seems to be two or more BTB series. One running in the $520 range and the Other in the $1200 range. The cheaper one has a lesser rating than the more expensive one. I have no personal experience with either, that I recall. Many will suggest other brands, as will I. Try a Rockbass by Warwick in the $500 - $600 range and Warwick has their topline over $1000.
My next bass will most likely be a 5-string Fortress ($600) in the Rockbass series. I have a 4-string Peavey Grind right now. It is good, but nothing compared to the Warwick Rockbass line.
