ok...I havent been here in forever..but i have 2 questions..I dont really think there beginner questions but this is the place where it said ur questions would be answered..anywho..
ok so i have some stuff that I wanna play...but the guitar has to be tuned a 1/2 step down...I have no idea how to do that...could some one please explain..if it helps any I know how to tune to drop D..
ok second question..when using a capo..like..the music says put it on fret 3..but then it says play fret 2 and 3....is it talking about the frets after the capo..like does the capo make a new nut or w/e?

Drop D is when you tune your guitar as DADGBE as opposed to EADGBE. Tuning down half a step is a similar process, except you tune all strings half a step down. Fat E becomes Eb and so on.

And as for the capo. Yes act like the NUT is now where the capo is at. All the frets are relative to the capo.
