I have been trying to play this in 4/4 time with alternating bass-strum as follows:
B D B D/U
It is coming along pretty good, but at some times in the song there seems to be one too many strums per bar.
Am I on the right track here?
It's originally all arpeggios, I think, though I usually strum it.
I just played through it though using bass notes and playing with the recording.
Try this:
B strum b b b strum
Hit those three bass notes pretty quickly with alternate picking and emphasize the strum on the chord. When you get to the measure that's
G D/F#, do the first b strum on the G and then use the F# for the next three bass notes. And remember the next measure is Em, then two full measures of C, one of D and one of D7.
Hope that helps.
