when you change chords think about what fingers remain on their respective strings, if none do, think about which fingers maintain the same relative shape but move.
Many beginners have issues going from C to G, but if you think about the middle and ring finger moving as a team from the A and D string to the E and A, it's a piece of cake.
Same thing with going from a C chord to an F barre, your ring finger shouldn't lift off the fretboard.
If you look at the song Harvest Moon, where you are changing from the signature riff to the A7, I had a hard time mastering that change, until I just left my pinky down and lightly slid it to the 3rd fret. Think about the mechanics of the change and that will often speed up your changes.
