Curious newby

Vic thanks for your very useful tips,the chords I have been told are as follow :- G D EM AM C AM7 D7 & A 7

I'm a little shocked to see you didn't list the E chord, it's the same shape as Am but move it all one string up...

Don't be shocked. :D That wasn't a summary of the only chords he can play - it's a list of the chords that he's seen for the song American Pie. That's why there's no E, F or B listed. They weren't in the song TAB. 8)

Oops, guess I missunderstood his post since his first one said he knew about 10 chords, it seemed like a very strange set of chords to know after the many months of playing :p
