Could someone offer their expertise on how to nail this lick.

Fingering 3 1 3 1 3
b = whole note bend
h = hammer on
pf = pull off
My problem is the pull off bit. 8 pulloff 5 with index and ring is just not happening.
What frustrating is that my fingers are quite flexible but I still can't get this part right.
Any ideas ...

I hammer on and pull off the G with my pinkie. I also bend with my pinkie, supported by ring and middle.

If you don't use your pinkie a lot it'll take some practice.
Steve
I find using the ring finger to hammer then pull on the 8th to be a bit of a strech, s I use the pinky, too, but either way, when you pull off do you try to pluck the string a little as you pull off, like kind of drag it across or snap it a little rather than just lifting the finger up off the string? Doing that willl make the note ring out better. That's what my teacher is always telling me to do with pull-offs.

Thanks guys. This lick is actually an excercise from a book called Lead Metal by Troy Stetina.
I can play this as steve suggested but since this lick appears in the "fundamentals" section of the book, I wanted to play it as it was indicated.
Mike, yes, I am trying to snap it using ring and index.
I know it will come, I think I will practice this lick at a higher fret before attempting it at the given position.
Thanks for your time guys.
