Hi guys,
have'nt been around for a while, pressure of work, family, all the usual day to day stuff, anyway I've been trying to play a piece by Blind Blake and It really is a cool sounding tune, but one problem I've come across is that it has a passage in it that calls for an F minor, and for the life of me I just cannot hit it cleanly, It's the F minor with the thumb on the F bass E string if you get my meaning. I think my fingers may be to short to manage this chord, any tips, ideas would be really appreciated.
Cheers Gary.
Why not play it as a regular Fm barre? [1 3 3 1 1 1]?
Thanks Arjen, but this piece is fingerstyle and it also requires a little twiddly bit with a pulloff at the third fret high e string. it needs to be played as i have described, I'll just have to keep trying, you know the old saying practice makes perfect.
Cheers Gary
