Ths is Pachelbel's Canon, right? A quality piece of writing.

Any chance we can get to hear it when it's done?

Best,

Yes Alan and here is the tab and the sheet i am referring to -

http://dirk.meineke.free.fr/classical2.html#Pachelbel (download the pdf file and infact dirk's page is really good !)

When i was just trying measure by measure my mom and my sis actually asked me what i was playing. And when i asked why were they saying that ....They said it sounded GOOD !.

I got to finish this piece.I promise that once i am done , i would like you to hear it first :D (and all others of course)

Thanks for all your help (I am sure i will keep asking questions...) ,

Rahul

That's a nice tidy score, and I'm pleased it doesn't have the optional tremelo section.

Have fun with it - it's a really glorious piece to be able to play in its entirety.

Optional Tremolo....Oh wow even this one isn't pretty darn easy.

Also ...is it really essential to keep the guitar in a classical position.Or can we play it in the normal way ?Does it affects the way we play classical guitar ?

Thanks ,

Rahul

Ah, the time-honoured question of how to hold the guitar.

You'll find it a lot easier to play if you assume the classical position - it works for Led Zep stuff too - the arm is naturally away from the body, giving you space to work in.

So right now i am using the table's under space acting as a footstool.

And my D-string broke...infact its the only string which breaks and then i have to change the whole set !

It was 4 months of pumping nylon and the D-string gave in.I have preserved the E and G if they are required in future.

Now back to my Canon :D
