Could some kind soul explain why there are so many different guitar shapes and sizes?
I mean, I've seen 00, 000 Parlor, Auditorium, Dreadnaught, OM, etc.
I'm not even asking about nylon string classical guitars.
Inquiring minds want to know :D

Bigger guitars for bigger sounds.
A lot of what you listed aren't really different sizes, just the different names manufactuers use to distinguish their models - OM, Auditorium, Parlor, Folk and 000 are pretty much the same size.
