Hi

So, I started learning guitar a few months back, and after that I moved to another place. Now a few weeks ago, I pick up the guitar to find that the first two frets of the e string sound very weird, and almost similar to each other. Then yesterday again I tried and the problem was resolved by itself and it started sounding ok again. So, I was wondering what this problem was due to? Can I avoid it? Was it due to the travel?

you did not mention if the guitar is an acoustic or electric. I bet it is acoustic, and the guitar is adjusting to the new climate.
you also may want to have the neck relief checked as there may be a possibility the truss rod isn't tensioned properly.
