I was wondering if anyone had good examples of harmonizing vocals that I could listen to, to try singing the harmony?

Thanks!

The Beatles stuff. Most of their songs have some sort of harmonization.

In no order, but my favorite bands with harmonized vocals: Crosby, Stills, and Nash; Simon and Garfunkle; Jefferson Airplane, and H.P. Lovecraft.
I think CSN is the best group with deep harmonies in the vocals, with Simon and Garfunkle a close second. I hope this helps.

Suite Judy Blue Eyes by CSN&Y....

anything by the Mamas and Papas....especially "California Dreaming"

Beatles, as previously mentioned....

an English band called Prelude did an accapella version of Neil Young's "After the Goldrush" waaaaaaaaaay back in the 70's ....dunoo if you'll find that anywhere, but I think it was on the Soundtrack of "Independence Day"....check it out if you can find it, absolutely beautiful harmonies....

Or you could check out an English band called Steeleye Span from the 70's....or Fairport Convention....

Anything by the Byrds....

hmmm....most of these are folk/rock bands....am I getting soft in my dotage?

:D :D :D
