hello guys

almost one year ago I asked if it was necessary to play scales for a beginner who barely played some easy songs and I received several interesting answers. In the last month or so, now rellay confident about my strumming, I finally started to play a few scales (well really it's the chromatic scale only...) as a warm-up and I have to say that I almost immediately noticed the following advantages:

a) I start to know where notes are (at least in the first four frets)
b) my chords are sounding a lot cleaner than before
c) it's easier to pick single notes (like in "Margaritasville" chord changes before the chorus)

So as most of you said to play some scales it is really helpful: at the worst you can improve your dexterity

Thanks everyone

Matteo
