Does anyone know the strumming pattern to Nutshell Unplugged by Alice In Chains?? This one has been driving me nutz for about two weeks now
The way I strum the song is:
Em7 G D Cadd9 G5 Em7
DD DU U U D DUUDU DUUDU DUDUDU DU D
I think it's fairly correct because I have spent some time listening to the song, watching the unplugged DVD, and working out the strumming pattern. The most important part of the stumming (at least what realy catches my ears) is the three up strokes from G to D to Cadd9.
I highly recommend buying the AIC unplugged DVD, not only to help you figure out this song, but because in my opinion it is some of the best acoustic guitar music captured on video. Jerry's guitar work and the vocal melody between Layne and Jerry is amazing ... Enjoy!
