Why is it that some days I pick up my guitar and can just seem to be in synch and other days I can't hit the right notes to save my soul?

That is just a normal part of learning guitar, we all go through it. Whenever you are having trouble and you can't hit the right notes just try to slow everything down a bit.

No answer for ya, but it happens to me as well. Usually after fumbling around a day or two you'll find it again and it will be better that it even was.....

You're right. It does appear that on those days when I'm in synch again, it is even better. On those days when I can't find it, even when slowing down, I just put it down for awhile to avoid the frustration.

Relative humidity. That's the answer, I think. ;)

Since im sure that youre smart enough to answer this question yourself, I'll just assume that what you really meant was, "why cant I play as good as I think I should be playing?" Answer: B/c your probably setting unrealistic goals.
