I often find mysely sitting in the car waiting for a kid to come out from practise, school etc and thinking it would be a great time to pluck away.
Unfortunately my compact car does not accomodate my full size acoustic.
I've tried using my strumming hand forearm for chord placements or a piece of wood with frets and strings drawn on, but it is not the same obviously.
Should I buy a ukelele? Cheap plastic guitar? Find better use for my idle time ?
thanks for any suggestions.
flipping threw the back of guitar world I've seen an ad for this a few times... http://www.littlefretty.com/ could be what you want.
mitchell,
please, not again. In the past, we've had weeks of laughter at the antics of little fretty (just scroll down the page to the "other things" that fretty is good for).
If DaveT tries that in a car, he'll be arrested in no time.
Can anyone tell me what batteries it takes?
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Yep, the second I clicked that link I figured my boss would walk in and see it and I'd have some "splainin" to do.
Although I appreciate the suggestion from Mitchell, i don't think my daughter would be impressed if I was caught outside her choir practise with "fretty" !!
How about reading a nice music theory book.

In a weird way that little thing is becoming one of the cliche's of this board, I think I might need to get one as part of a GuitarNoise shrine or something...
