Gadlaw, no need to apologize even in advance. I still enjoy what you did with my avatar. I still cycle it in once in awhile plus it is on my work laptop wallpaper.

I think as Wes and I made clear, we like it and I think others would feel the same way.

No, I wasn't angry at all, just shocked when I noticed my arm moving.

Here is a full size version, do whatever you want. Believe me, with this mug of mine, I learned to laugh at myself a long time ago. :D

I would like to see the Pete Townshend windmill thing too.

Hey Nils! Thanks again, I'm still feeling like I'm going to open the door one day and there you'll be - to punch me in the nose. It's probably cause of your menacing look. And Wes, I'll get to fiddle with your picture there when I get done with my quality time with my big beaked red friend. We're cage cleaning. - Well I'm cleaning, he's supervising.

Enjoy your karma, after all you earned it.

Sorry to have shocked you. I did something like that to Nils too. It's just always seems like a good idea when I think of it and then after I post something like that - and after a little while is when it occurs to me that the person whose picture I fooled with might not think it's funny. So I apologize to everyone in advance if I fiddle with your picture. It's all good natured on my part. And I can actually do just about anything with a picture - given enough of a picture that is. The little tiny icons are like 6 kbs or so and are a bit difficult to work with. Having said that, I see that I could give Hummerline lazy eye or just about any eye movement I could think of - it's a great picture with personality already. I've stifiled myself on that one cause it seems like it might be mean. And you know, make lazer beams come out of Nick's eyes or roll twistedlefty's eyes. Silly stuff like that. Thanks for not being mad. And I believe I can make your head spin. A bigger picture would work better but I think I can do it.

Haha mean? Nope. If you were so inclined, you may do your worst :)

PS. Don't worry, I'm not naked in this picture, just shirtless.

Greetings,

I've got a small effort here. Bird cages took a long time to clean. I have it bigger, not as cropped as well. Tweaking it for size and all. It took eight different versions of Wes. It's running 'fast' - could make it slower or whatnot. The arm strum thing was two pics worth. And a windmill will be four to eight. It just depends.

Sure the first one was quick and easy but with a good large picture I can do much more interesting things, like this. This is me taking a bit more time and effort. Not what I was originally starting to create but this is what zoomed out. All of them, a bit larger are to be found at the link. Dial up and faint of heart should be watchful, 273 kb at the page so it takes a second.

OKay, this is the last bit here before I get carried away. Not my work, an online sign generator sort of thing.

Ya, spinning eye thing is creepy indeed. I was thinking of the character on South Park, the elementary school teacher who had lazy eye and it was a running joke. But that would take more time - to reconstruct an eyelid so he could blink, have his eye in the normal place then have it slowly drift down but I wanted to have something done in five - ten minutes so I went lazy me instead of lazy eye. When time allows. :)

Gadlaw, that stuff is really impressive. Never seen anything like it. Is that what you do for a living?

Oh no, this stuff is just primitive silly stuff. To do anything like this for a living you would be using Flash, Illustrator and have an intimate knowledge of website making. I have my vanity website where I keep track of death penalty issues, buddhism, my various art and photo doodlings and whatever I feel like doing. All the graphic work is my own. When I get motivated I'll figure out CSS and the other more modern website languages and modern it all up. For these pictures I've used a gif animation software and photoshop. Doesn't take much artistic ability. Like spinning head Wes I had to 'create' the back of his head, (by cloning the bit of hair there is) but not too detailed since it's spinning back around so fast as long as you get the idea of it the illusion works. Same with the head turning around, I didn't have more pictures of Wes, just manipulated the picture I had, turned the head, create some cloned background where his head used to be. It's all like playing solitaire for me, something to do while my fret hand uncramps from trying to do all of those barre chords in Sister Golden Hair. :)

You can't buy your third guitar. You have to buy the second one first! Go for it. 8)

If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.

well it was fun while it lasted, couple of complaints (even tho with smileys) means it probably bothers a few people more than i want. shame it has to come down.
Thanx for the Kewl avatar GadLaw but i guess i better put it in mothballs for a special occasion. 8)
