I am looking for easy songs played with a capo. I bought one today and desperately want to use it. It seems I suddenly can't find any "capo" songs. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Have a look through the Easy Songs Database forum. ;)
Off the top of my head, some songs that come to mind are:
Failing that, there's not reason why you can't play any song you already know with the capo on any fret. That's what I did when I wanted to try my capo out. :)
From little things big things grow - Paul Kelly
Check out Sting's "Fields of Gold", one of Hodge's lessons.
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
One of the easiest is "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". Capo is at the first fret to match the CD.
Guitar teacher offering lessons in Plainfield IL
Wonderwall - Oasis
Collide - Howie Day
Check out the song lessons on the GN site for:
Nowhere Man - Beatles (Capo 2nd fret)
Losing My Religion (Capo 5th? fret)
I think some of the other song lessons here also use a capo.
Also the Beatles "Here Comes the Sun" and "Norwegian Wood" make use of the capo.
You can also have fun just strumming the open chord shapes you already know (relative to the capo) higher up on the neck.
Enjoy!
"The details of my life are quite inconsequential." - Dr. Evil

Have I told you lately
most of the songs I have posted on there utilise a capo. The beginners version of Hotel California, whilst offending the purists  seems to have been very popular!
all the best

Sundown & Carefree Highway. Gordon Lightfoot almost always capoed at the second fret for songs.
I Saw You First - Mellencamp (capo first fret)
How's It Going To Be - Third Eye Blind (capo third fret)
"Nothing...can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts."
Don't come much easier than That's Entertainment by the Jam
erm.... There's a couple of James Blunt offerings in the ESD
Collide - Howie Day (capo on 4th)
you're beautiful - james blunt (capo on 7th)
blowin' in the wind - bob dylan (capo on 7th on most popular version)
...but really, you can play any song with a capo. you can slap on a capo somewhere and play the same chords with different shapes if the original chords are difficult for you to form. Or you can slap on a capo and play the song in a totally different key while, still maintaining the original structure and progression, ie you can play the same chord shapes as the original. I do this sometimes if the vocals on the original does not suit my voice. maybe this is all too much for you now, but you'll get it soon enough :-)
"The Weight" Robbie Robertson -capo second fret
and as Matt says the capoed version of "Hotel California" It's kind of cool when you get 3 or so guys jamming to that tune , One playing in Bm all the rest using capo's at different frets. I capo at the second fret and play in F or at times capo at the 7th fret for those high tones. It sounds really full and capoing at different frets leaves ROOM for each guitar so that it doesn't sound muddy.
Also Wes' version on the ESD base of Folsom Prison can be capoed at the first fret to match the original.
But like someone else said play anything capoed and get used to how to change keys etc. Also do some reading to determine how to transpose tunes. There are lots of sites on capo use.

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is in the Easy Song database.

Night Moves by Bob Seger (capo at 1st fret) and I tink the chords are in the Easy Song Database (if not let me know and I can post them). Also there is an easy version of Hotel California by the Eagles in the Easy Song Database capo at the 2nd fret.
