Hooray! I've nailed The Sussex Carol by Doug Sparling. It sounds beautiful - and in time for Christmas too!! That's two seasonal songs under my belt (Silent Night being the other one).....now if I can just get that mind-blowing, awe-inspiring Huron Carol down, I'd be a happy man :D , but I keep going back to it and can't play it for the life of me! Why is it so damn hard!! I'm a folk player at heart, as are my guitar-playing friends, and I just KNOW the Huron Carol would blow them away!! I WILL NOT GIVE UP TIL I'VE NAILED IT!!!
Never assume the other fellow has intelligence equal to yours. He may have more.

Congrats! It's a really nice tune.

Congrats. I am going to start working on that one next. I play The Eagles Whistle arranged by Doug and its beautiful too.

Hey - nice way to start my morning to come across this thread :)
Dylan - BTW, I had a heck of time playing my own arrangement of the Huron Carol - but it's worth it :)
I completely agree Doug - it will be well worth it when (if!) I get it down. You're a massive inspiration to me, and I love all your arrangements. Just wished you lived near me so I could have personal lessons :D :D :D

Hey, wow, thanks. That would get you a least dozen free lessons :)
