I have a couple questions about using the tremolo bar. First, does the fret in which you do the pull off from effect what note is played? And second, when I did one dive bomb, the low E string went out of tune two whole steps, is that normal?

Well the tuning usaully goes out whenever you do a dive bomb with a bar on a standard guitar, but if you basically oil the string's contact points (the nut, tuners, string trees, saddles) i always find that helps alot, I can usaully do large dive bombs on my guitar and keep it relatively in tune.

I'm a bit confused about the first question though, When you use the whammy bar it depresses the string and lowers the pitch, so it will only effect the last note in which you play: so if you play A, G, F and then press the whammy bar, the F note will be lowered.

Sorry, I meant pull offs in general, it just came up since the lesson tells you to pull off then depress the whammy bar, so I was wondering if the fret you pulled off from makes a difference.

you probably have noticed. when bending any string when your guitar has a tremelo all the strings will go off pitch along with the one you are bending.
it isnt a problem for me. some hate trem guitars so they use hardtails.

your pull off and trem bend : it sounds like the trem bend is specific to the pull off. like it is specific to a song.
is this a generaltechnique you picked up from a learning book or teacher?

it sounds cool.
