Here is a song requested by biker_jim_uk. I did not know this song, but really came to enjoy it. It is pretty easy, strumming standard open C, F, Am, and G chords in a shuffle rhythm. :D
Thanks Biker Jim, this is a great song.
(drums)
Intro- C F C F C F C F (pause)

I often wonder how the Fillmore Shuffle
C F
Caught us both in the very same year.
C F
I guess we were foolish, oh, but so glad to do it
C F (pause)
Face down in the hallway, but never any tears.
C F
The first one to go, it was sweet William.
C F
I guess we should, we should have been warned
C F
But it felt so good, to be quittin'
C F (pause)
We thought we were causing, nobody any harm
C F
So we kept on lying , to each other saying,
Chorus
Am C
"I'm gonna quit it tomorrow," but tomorrow never comes
Am G
"Yes, I'll quit it tomorrow," but tomorrow never comes
F
Tomorrow never comes
Short solo- C F C F (pause)
C F
And I guess our life, reads just a novel
C F
Though we both keep hoping for so much more.
C F
We keep on tryin'. to understand why
C F (pause)
We keep on livin', livin' this way.
C F
Tryin' to keep thinks together is the reason I stay.
C F
And she says to me, "Baby, honey, I feel so bad."
C F
Then she goes out walkin' and she stays out so late
C F (pause)
And I know where she's goin', to myself, I say...
Chorus
Am C
"I'm gonna quit it tomorrow," but tomorrow never comes
Am C
"I'll quit it tomorrow ba-by," but tomorrow never comes
Am C Call it the Fillmore Shuffle, huh, the Fillmore Shuffle

It's the Fillmore Shuffle babe, just a one more time,
Am C
Ooooh……. yeah, quit it tomorrow
Am C Am C
Ah, quit it tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes

And thanks again Wes, you are most definitely 'THE MAN' :D
Now the annoying Qs start ;)
How would you play the little fills - the do-de-do-de-dodee bits after 'tomorrow never comes'
For those who have never heard this song, I found a site where I can upload it. Just click on the Windows Media square by the song title (Fillmore Shuffle Sammy Hagar).
This is a fun, and fairly easy song to play. Sounds pretty great too.
