Hey guys,
I've added another song to my online directory
http://www.zevdev.com/tabs/
"Sweet Mary" by Equalizer
I know a lot of you probably haven't ever heard it, but it's a good acoustic tune. It's really simple, still decently impressive, AND easy to sing (for me at least, and I have troubles with most things).
Some personal pointers:
Chords
G: 3 2 0 0 3 3 (or 3 2 0 0 0 3 but the other sounds nicer)
Cadd9: 0 3 2 0 3 3 (or 0 3 2 0 3 0 same deal as above)
D: 0 0 0 2 3 2
Am: 0 0 2 2 1 0
C: 0 3 2 0 1 3 (or 0 3 2 0 1 0 same deal)
Strumming Pattern:
X = palm mute
1+2+3+4+
D DU UDU
X X
Intro:
Just G and Cadd9 alternating for a few bars then break into the tab. In the intro I add a bunch more mutes and move them around a bit to make it a little more interesting. At the very start I'll start by strumming DUD on the first beet instead of just D (the real song seems to do that) I'll also throw that in other places too, sounds cool. =)
Stuff:
at "boy when you first met me" in the first verse and that spot where the D comes quickly after the G in the verses it puts the G and D into one measure, so you get something like this...
G D Cadd9
boy when you first met me
G D Cadd9
1+2+3+4+
DUDUD Du <-- little up stroke if any
X X
I think that's all I've got to say about this song. Enjoy!

But those people never knew you the way that I did
Don't be ashamed of who you were of how you died
I know you just wanted to find the brighter side..." - OPM
