I found this video on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wc5w9_kBr7g and loved the way its played, so I mailed the guy and he sent me the chords/lyrics, so I've pasted them below. Hope that's okay? I think its a great mellow tune and chords-wise it nots too difficult, even though I still can't play it as well as Olly.
Anyway, enjoy.

Hope that helps. I added a bit of variety by lifting off the odd finger while playing certain chords. Try it when playing a D, but lift your finger on and off of the bottom string.
Thanks for that.
Having the link to the video really helps understand how this song is played. Although not being familiar with the song its really easy to pick up.
would you give also the strumming paterns for the guitar beginners ?
Guitar Guernsey site suggests: DDD/UDD/UD
Take a look here (scroll down) http://www.grouptherapy.guernsey.net/strumming.html
and here: http://www.grouptherapy.guernsey.net/demos.html (although the chords suggested by Olly are a fair bit easier than these).
Hi Rich. We meet again 8)
I hope the practice is coming along ok?
Take a look over here: https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28622 for some of my demos.

'Faith in the Lord is something I could never have, cos the Lord I know don't got no faith in me'.
Nice job on that Olly. I love this song and your cover is actually something I feel I can learn. I'm only a beginner and this is going to be the first full song I learn to play. I don't think I'm ready to learn the correct version just yet so I'm well chuffed I've got this to get my teeth into.
Cheers mate.
Oh no where did the vid go. That was so usefuly in helping learn this tune.
Sorry, I took it down because I was fed up with people posting comments on Youtube saying 'you can't play guitar, give up' etc.
Not worth the hassle...

Hi Olly, any luck in posting this elsewhere or sussing out a way of mailing?

The insight into humanity that YouTube commentry has given me has completely stunned me, and I've always been a misanthrope. Quite how some of these people manage to tie their own shoes is beyond me. Illegitimi Non Carborundum
Anyhoo, I've seen several videos on YouTube that had a note reading "comments disabled on this video" or somesuch in the comment area. I don't know if it's a user option or just YouTube policing their comments, but I find it hard to believe it's the latter judging by what gets left behind
