This is a fun song to play and is pretty easy. On the Instrumental just follow the suggested fingerings (which minimizes finger movement) and you'll pick it up in no time. It is easier to do than to explain. The ending pulloff and hammeron [C(p)Cmaj7(h)C], is super easy. Simply strike a C chord firmly, lift the index and hammer it back on again.

Suggest the A7 and E7 be formed as follows:

A7: x02223
E7: 020100
C/B: x22010

Hey this one is good shug!

Glad to see you back on this forum.

The only thing that doesn't sound quite right to me is the (Em) on "time" followed by (A) "ago". The (A) seems ok.

Mind you I've just re-strung my guitar and it sounds a bit odd at the moment by that I mean the sound is extra bright and ringy, so that could be the problem.

Anyway a great song this, from the Magical Mystery Tour days. Very Paul McCartney!!

Thanks again shug,

Chris

The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)

Chris, what an excellent ear you have!! A C/B chord (ie. x22010), which is similar to the Em, should probably be used. Since it comes after a C chord, it is an easy matter to simply move the ring finger to the second fret while holding on to the remainder of the C chord, thereby forming the C/B. Good catch! I'll make the change on the original. Thanks for the comments!
