I've scanned through some of the effects helps and a lot of the information was valuable, but I'm curious how other fine guitarists such as yourselves would set up the pedals I have.
Currently I have them as such:
Guitar>
Ibanez PM7 Phaser>
Dunlop Crybaby>
BOSS DS-1>
BOSS SD-1>
EH Big Muff Pi>
Green Ringer>
EH Octave Multiplexer>
Univibe> (vintage 70's)
Line 6 FM4>
Ernie Ball Jr. Volume Pedal>
Danelectro Cool Cat DC-1 Chorus>
Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo>
Amp
I know there are a lot of ways they are 'supposed' to go, but I would like to know how you would set them up
Thanks!
no EQ?
#4491....
put all the distortion pedals first. then the chorus and phaser. then volume. then delay or echo last.
man, that is alot of pedal.
I have been debating a EQ pedal, but I'm not to sure. I really haven't tried any out yet to see what an EQ pedal can actually do to my sound, or even to my effects.
And thanks dogbite, I'll try switching them around like that.
Any other ideas? Also, any other good, physcodelic pedals you think are worth it?
I never used one but sue heard them plenty.
get an Expandora.
ZZ Top secret weapon I am told. a friend has one and loves it.

Basically, I'd go for the heavy distortion before the wah so that if I wanted to, I could get a really rough sound which is quite unpredictable. If you want a psychadelic sound, then just putting everything the wrong way round will give you a more unpredictable/dirty sound...
