I finally understand notes in and chords in a key. I've been really struggling with this for sometime. Between David's lesson, Tom's book, a $24.00 lesson devoted to strictly to this and then re-reading David's article "theory without tears" I understand it. This brings a whole new light into my playing. Now just get the fretboard memorized :D

BTW Tom, I brought your book into my class and the manager took all the contact info from it. Looks as if he wants to keep it in stock for students.
