I haven't posted here for a very long time, but I'm back to post some opinions and would like to hear some opinions on the following lyrics.

By the title of this song you know what it's about, music has been written for it. It is a fast song but not too fast, about 100bpm.

Cheers everyone.

All You Need Is Rock 'n' Roll – (Words)

(Intro)

(Verse 1)
I've been waiting for something to hear on my radio
But I don't know which station plays all the right notes

(Bridge 1)
Gonna make you see
What it's all about
Only rock'n'roll
Is never in doubt

(Verse 2)
I've been listening to this kind of music all of my life
But don't try and turn me ‘round to all that techno sh!te

(Bridge 2)
Gonna make some sounds
To sing along
Only rock'n'roll
Can be my song

(Chorus)
All you need is rock 'n' roll
In your life
All you need is your heart and soul
In your life
It's all about rock 'n' roll
In your life
So all you need rock 'n' roll

(Simplified Intro)

(Repeat Verse 1)

(Repeat Bridge 1)

(Repeat Verse 2)

(Repeat Bridge 2)

(Repeat Chorus)

The lyrics are simple, but thats expected for this kind of song. Can you give an idea of what the melody/music is like?

I can't really describe how the melody goes, I don't know how I would do that unless I record it.

The verses go Asus4 -> C

Asus4
x02230

C
x3x033

Example:
Strike the Asus4 once before starting the first word, keep strumming and strike C when you hit the word 'hear'.

I don't know how to explain it. In my post I said 100bps, I mean 100bpm.

I'm a huge Oasis fan and wish I could write songs like Noel Gallagher, but I can't. This is song is the exeption, it sounds like Oasis and would suit them well.[/img]
