I Saw you hanging out your laundry to dry
Saw you Pinning your shirts and your jeans to the line
And I saw the shirt that I'd seen that night
The one behind the cupboard that that wasn't mine
We battled and fought I know but I never thought
I would be in the basket with the dirty clothes
And whilst I looked I was thinking to myself
That you should be hanging me outside
Alongside that shirt that wasn't mine,
faded and worn but still their in my mind
We won and lost I know but I never thought
I would be in the basket with the dirty clothes
You've already spun me in your cycle of deceit
Full of all your lies and your cobwebs of dirt
So isn't it about time that you hang me out to dry
I could flap in the wind in view of people passing by
We hated and loved I know but I never thought
I would be in the basket with the dirty clothes
I Saw you hanging out your laundry to dry
Saw you both pinning shirts and jeans to the line
And there right beside you was a face I didn't recognise
Wearing the bright red shirt the one that wasn't mine
We nearly made it you know but
You put me in the basket with the dirty clothes

Hi Florence
this line didn't work for me
"That you should be hanging me up alongside "
can I suggest a little change
" That you should be hanging me out side "
apart from that I thought this was pretty darn good
that's my 5 cents worth keep up the writting good stuff
cheers
Aghhhh

Liked it. Most songs now-a-days i hear stray away from the main topic in their other versus. This one was good at keeping the song alive.
There's a thin fine line between hate and rage.
Now watch the line be crossed and break!
