Hey fellow songwriters.. my producer just told me to enter this "international songwriters competition" thing.. i checked it out on http://www.songwritingcompetition.com .
you need to submit your song/s on a CD or cassette i believe. top prize is 10,000$ plus other luxuries.. wow. also, the best perk is your music is judged by a panel of big names in the music industry. great exposure for those looking for it (like me).
so i'm putting my upcoming local gigs on hold and focusing on writing the best song i've ever written. wish me luck.
and good luck to any of you that decide to enter.
oh yeah, don't forget to COPYRIGHT YOUR SONGS before you send them in! always a must whenever giving your music to someone else to hear.
