What you have here is a very solid start with some very good lines in how ever do think it does need a little tweeking .

sorry havent posted for awhile. BTW the song is about my fathers death, I probably should have given you guys that information before hand. Its about losign that person you could turn to to give you direction.

Ah, crucial info. I would definitely put that somewhere in the song. Now I feel bad. I lost my dad on May 2 this year, a day after my son's birthday. It really sucked so I feel for you.
