it needs to be put together a bit better as you said, but i understood what you were saying, some of it was a bit jumbled but it was ok
There is a definate movement there, i think you're a bit hard on yourself when you say that none of it goes together.
Just needs a bit of tinkering, i especially like the first glance, second glance part in the chorus' it gives it a certain momentum, and leads the eye and ear to a conclusion.
