Hey, here is an acoustic song i wrote called Nowhere To Go. It's a sad song but really good.

Nowhere To Go

Wander these lonely streets,
All by my lonesome,
Wondering,
Where I'll find home until I know,
Exactly where I'll go,
Where will I go?

I'm going nowhere,
And I'm on to nothing,
I don't know where I am,
Because I seem to have forgotten,
What it is that I lost that,
I seem to need so bad,
What is it so?

Walking alone no place to go,
Nowhere to call my home,
And I'm finding out,
There is no way out and, oh, oh,
No where left to show my face,
I've gone all over the place... (looking for hope)

I'm going nowhere,
And I'm on to nothing,
I don't know where I am,
Because I seem to have forgotten,
What it is I lost that,
I seem to need so bad,
What is it so?

I'm going nowhere,
I'm on to nothing,
Nowhere to go,
No where to go...

I'm going nowhere,
And I'm on to nothing,
I don't know where I am,
Because I seem to have forgotten,
What it is a lost that,
I seem to need so bad,
What is it so?

I was fully prepared to come in here and tear it apart, cause that's just the kind of guy I am.

But, honestly. It's really good. I give it a 7 out of 10.

I would tweak a couple lines that I personally find awkward. For example, 'What is it so?' I'm trying to imagine someone singing that, and I'd think 'huh?'

Or 'I've gone all over the place...' I'm guessing it's there for meter reasons. Just a bit awkward cause it really means 'everywhere.'

Other than those minor points, I'd definitely put it to music. Good luck.

Hey, you said you've written 140+ songs. How many have you put to music? And when you do, do you record them? Just wondered if you had any MP3s uploaded.

I ask this because I've got 4 songs to music and I'm experimenting with the recording process.

hey, i have written 140+ i've put about 7 to music the reason for that is i write punk-rock songs mostly which require an electric guitar which i don't have at the point. No i do not record right now i am not in currently in a place with abundant resources for this. but in 6 months or so i will be starting doing this.
