Posting Original songs here Copyright and User Agreement

Call me paranoid, but I have to ask:

If I post an original song on this forum does Guitarnoise have rights to it?

The only reason I bring this up is that I was invited to host a forum several years ago and was sent a contract telling me that all of my posts were property of (I believe Ivillage though I can't really recall). Just so happened that I was a legal assistant in patent and copyright law and the attornies hands down advised me against it.

I would love to share some of my song ideas, but it worries me, and I don't particularly want to go through the trouble of copyrighting rough drafts.

Secondly, if someone were to take a song as their own (another member), wouldn't it be terribly difficult to pursue litigation?

I assume others have thought about this and would love to get your analysis of the situation
