most of my songs are dashboard confessional type songs, all lovey dovey or heartbreak, stuff like that. So this was a first for me to write a songmore like a story. I have been writing for along time though, be it songs or stories (I have 2 novels done... go figure) so writing comes easily to me. Its easier for me to put the images in my head down on paper then some poeple without experience. The only coaching I could offer is to practice practice practice :P
just have a vivid imagination, and learn to use description well, and also how to simplify sentances without simplifying them.... Confusing I know, jsut take out pointless words, only leave what you need. Just enough to ge the point across.
