Audacity: Listen to track while recording another?

Problem SOLOVED! I had to roll back the driver for the onboard sound card...Works fine now....Now the onbourd sound card shows in the preferences of Audacity. However now I don't have the most updated driver for my sound card?

Glad to know you got it to work. That missing soundcard choice in audacity was a good clue then.

Should be easy enough to update the sound card driver, either via Windows Update or at the manufacturer's website. Best of luck. :)
