i'd be too worried about scratching the wood (or should I say the art) with my pick. You know I'd have to play that beauty and not let it sit above the fireplace.

I played with a guy in the 70s who had carved his own guitar (looked a lot like some of those, too!). Don't remember his name... just his guitar, the fact that he was the first Mexican I'd met who played hard-core rock & roll, and that he was built like a brick (#&*@!

And yes, you hang it on the wall - it makes it much easier to grab and play.
