Hey..sorry for starting new topics so often...But I just love doing it, so...here goes.
I just got this Noise Supressor, and I was wandering.
Does elliminate ALL noise? or just noise coming from pedals and such?
I just hooked it up, and I am still getting noise from my amp, the kind of noise you hear when you're volume on the guitar is all the way up, but you're palming it so you don't hear the strings..it's like a hum almost like a car sounds when it's idleing..
hmm..
anyone up for some tips or anything on this issue?
Thanks

Marshall

It's a noise gate as described here:

http://guitargeek.com/gearview/68

It helps suppress the hum and noise one would normally hear only when not playing anything on the guitar. When one is not playing, it simply and automatically "turns off" the signal coming from the guitar. Start playing, and it "reconnects" the guitar to the amp. It will not reduce the noise generated in the amplifier (e.g., normal amp hiss), as this is created after the NS-2
