Hi everyone, to start off with, not to brag, but i can play very well, at least i think so, ive been playin alot of zakk wylde, yngwie, and vai over the years, but one problen still bothers me, im always sounding dirty, and it almos seems that no matter what i do, it never gets better, ive tried muting, and that didnt help. Heres a good example:
-14--12--10------10--14--12--10----------------------------------
---------------14---------------------14-----------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
repeated a few times 90bpm and 32nd notes. well my b string is continuelessly ringing out an open b... wtf can i do to stop this, o, and im not a legato player, ALL of my notes are picked.... thank you ALOT.

im always sounding dirty

1. Stop your subscription "hustler"!

2. Start off at 60bpm and 1/4 notes until you can play it cleanly, then gradually increase the speed (but only after getting the current speed off pat).

I say go back and work on string muting more. It will definitely make your sound cleaner and the notes that you want to be heard more defined.

E doesn't = MC2, E = Fb
