Any one have any experience with a drum machine. I'm looking for a little back-up to my so-so guitar playing. I would want something I could program easily for a peticular song and save it. Maybe save 50-100 songs. I never had one but thought it would make the song. Any ideas???? I don't want to spend more than $200.00.

Alesis SR16. There's others too, but I've got that one. Had a Roland TR707 before that.

Beware! They can be quite addicting!

Especially when you start practicing scales in 7/8 or 13/8 time :)

Or you could get a little computerized one for free, if your computer is in sound range of your music gear. With a free trial version of Fruity Loops, you'll be will be able to make loops with dozens of sounds, although you can't save them. Still, free is a very good cost.

Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...

Thanks, I was looking at the AlesisSR. Maybe I give it a try. I want to save them so Fruit Loops wouldn't work.

Thank you, Thank you very much.
