It really does.
The scale length is very nice for my hand size. At 25.5" with a 12" fretboard radius there's plenty of room for big jazz chords, but not quite so big that any of the stretches are too much.
The tone is awe inspiring. Even unplugged the hand carved top just resonates so clearly. It could be mic'ed and played acoustic and still sound nice.
The neck is very fast, even with TI-12 flat wounds on it.
The tuners are a joy to use . . . they very easily accept even the most minor adjustments.
I'll try and get some sound clips up soon . . . but having too much fun playing it to play around with recording at the moment :)

very nice. +1 on the sound clips -- both acoustic and electric, if possible.
