If so I think your getting close... you need to warm it up a little I think. Might be tough with the accustic though...

Well you are close enough that I noticed what you were going for. :D As for spot on... well I think your out of luck at this time with your gear... but I think with a little tweeking you might get to the point that your happy with it for now. Might want to try one of the multi effects pedals also. I have a small pedal.... think its by ZOOM. I havent dug it out in a wile.. that I can get all kinds of diferent sounds out of.. SOmething that might help you get closer.

Bues aren't always creamy and mellow. If you use drop tuning, they can be dirty and grungy too. I like to play them in drop down. Jazz on the other hand is creamy and mellow and sometimes funky!
