Some of you may have read this thread about my modifications forthcoming to a cheapo strat-like starter axe. In the mean time, I've been also looking to mod a semi-cheapo Ibanez GAX-70.

Basically, taking a 2 volume control/two tone control axe, changing to some hotter pickups and changing a couple of POTs to push/pull to add some sound variations. I stumbled across this a while ago. This will give me 21 variations of sound out of my two humber axe.

SUPPOSEDLY, this is the Jimmy Page LP set up.

I'm ordering two more push/pulls tomorrow.

I'll be watching this with great interest as that is my guitar. I once used some duct tape and a wire to make a coil tap for it, but got fed up after a while and removed the mod.
