I go into a Music Center - I see the guitars hanging by the neck - I see guitar stands that hold the guitar by the neck :!:
Then I've read that this is not a good practice :?
Any comments on using the neck for holding/storing a guitar
Is this a ACCEPTABLE Method or BAD method and why :?:

It doesn't hurt them. The guy over at FRETS.com says he prefers hanging them. They've all got truss rods to compensate for any stress.

Yeah. Water, and oils, etc. warps wood. Guitar hangers don't.

Oils from your hand, at least. But if the neck is finished, it's not a problem.

Thanks for the info :!:
I will pull my guitars out of their cases each morning and put them on a stand so they are ready to go anytime during the day :D

Leaning your guitar on it's neck against a wall MAY warp your neck over time, but I seriously doubt it could happen in your lifetime.
The neck of the guitar is it's strong point. It's got several hundred pounds of pressure to deal with on a regular basis from string pull. One or two extra pounds from the lean isn't going to do a darn thing.
The only thing that I guarantee will warp your guitars neck is the strings.
Would this more or less of an issue with a bass guitar?

No - I have two guitars:
Washburn six string acoustic
Dean Hardtail six string electric
Haven't had the opportunity to play a bass.
